2009: Had an impressive first season as a Yellowjacket in the starting rotation...Went 4-4 on the year with a 4.72 ERA...Appeared in 13 games with 12 starts in 74.1 innings of work which was good for second on the team...Allowed just 19 walks on the year which was a staff-best and fanned 42 on the year for second on the team...Named GNAC Honorable Mention as a junior...Pitched a season-high nine innings in 6-4 win at Northwest Nazarene (3/7) where he fanned a season-best 10 Crusaders marking his first win as a Yellowjacket...Pitched eight innings three times on the year and seven innings twice.
Highland CC: Played two years at Highland Community College where he was a team captain and was a Resident Assistant as well as being homecoming royalty.
Lincoln East High School: Played baseball all four years in high school where he was named an Academic All-State selection in 2006…Also played legion baseball for U-Stop and Nebraska Sluggers…A member of National Honor Society as well as being on the honor roll for three years and was homecoming royalty…Also was a member of the drumline for the East High marching band...Majoring in pre-medicine. |
